The Centre de Transfusion sanguine (Blood Transfusion Centre) of the Luxembourg Red Cross is pleased to open its doors to the public on Saturday 18 September 2021 from 10 am to 5 pm, and to allow him to discover the hidden side of this noble and altruistic gesture that is blood donation.
The blood products collected by the CTS teams are a fundamental resource to save lives. In Luxembourg, more than 9600 people gave blood in 2020. But what happens to these donations? We offer you a guided tour behind the scenes of our activity to better understand how each individual can make a difference!
Interested persons can also take the opportunity to register and make an appointment for their first blood donation.
